Namesake of a St. Mungo’s ward. He tried to fake his death by claiming a Lethifold attack.

Thomas, Dean Thomas, Dean
Dean Thomas is a tall, black Gryffindor (class of ’98) from London. As far as he knows, he is a Muggle-born, since his parents are Muggles. However, although his stepfather is a Muggle, his father was a wizard who was killed for refusing to join the Death Eaters. He had abandoned his family when Dean was very young for their safety. Dean also has some half siblings. Dean is a big football fan, his favorite team being West Ham. He even has West Ham colored pajamas and West Ham and Viktor Krum posters over his bed. In addition, he is very talented at drawing. His greatest fear is a severed hand. His best friend is Seamus Finnigan, who invited him to the Quidditch World Cup in ’94. Dean went out with Ginny Weasley for most of his sixth year. She broke up with him when she thought he was trying to help her through the portrait hole. That same year, Dean tried out for the Quidditch team but did not make it at first. He ended up playing in all three matches as a substitute Chaser and played a part in Gryffindor winning the Cup in ’97. Dean was a member of the D.A.

Tofty, Prof. Tofty, Prof.
Professor Tofty is an O.W.L. administrator with the Wizarding Examinations Authority. He is the oldest and baldest current examiner and wears pince-nez. He has veined and knotted hands and is friends with Tiberius Ogden. He offered Harry Potter a bonus point for casting a Patronus.

Tom the Bartender Tom the Bartender
Tom is the wizened, bald owner of the Leaky Cauldron, which acts as an entrance to Diagon Alley. His appearance bears a resemblance to a toothless walnut. Tom is always friendly and hospitable to his customers. He watched over Harry Potter when the boy stayed at his inn in the summer of ’93.

Tonks, Andromeda Tonks, Andromeda
Andromeda is the sister of Bellatrix (Lestrange) and Narcissa (Malfoy). The Black family disowned her after she married a Muggle-born, Ted Tonks, thus contaminating their bloodline. Their daughter, Nymphadora, is an Auror and Metamorphmagus. Andromeda was always Sirius Black’s favorite cousin.

Tonks, Nymphadora Tonks, Nymphadora
Nymphadora Tonks absolutely hates her name, so she insists on going by her last name, “Tonks.” Tonks has a pale, heart-shaped face and dark, twinkling eyes. Beyond that, it is virtually impossible to get a physical description of her. Being born a Metamorphmagus became quite handy for her because Tonks delights in changing her appearance. Her favorite seems to be to have bubblegum pink hair. She is the daughter of Andromeda (Black), whom she blames for her unfortunate name, and Ted Tonks, a Muggle-born. She rides a Comet Two Sixty.

Tonks qualified as an Auror in 1994 (born 1973?). She excels in Concealment and Disguise for obvious reasons, but her clumsiness hampers her Stealth and Tracking abilities. Tonks is a member of the Order of the Phoenix and volunteered to be part of the Advance Guard to pick up Harry Potter in the summer of ’95. She went to the Department of Mysteries to help Harry and his friends after Death Eaters lured them there. Her Death Eater aunt, Bellatrix, knocked her unconscious and then proceeded to kill Sirius Black (Tonks’ cousin, once removed).

Tonks spent much of the following year depressed because she was in love with fellow Order member Remus Lupin. Remus did not think they should be together because of the (15 year?) age difference and because it would be dangerous what with him being a poor werewolf. This made Tonks so unhappy she could not even change her hair color from its drab mousy brown. Her Patronus had changed to the form of a werewolf. She guarded Hogwarts grounds for most of the year as extra protection and to keep an eye on Harry. While there, she worried constantly about Remus being on a dangerous mission. In the spring, she fought the invasion of Death Eaters below the Astronomy Tower. Remus finally gave in to Tonks following the tragic events, using Fleur and Bill as an example. Her hair returned to a vibrant pink.

Tonks, Ted Tonks, Ted
Born:May 15

Muggle-born Ted Tonks married pure-blood Andromeda (Black), much against the wishes of her family. They have a daughter, Nymphadora, who is an Auror and Metamorphmagus.

Trelawney, Cassandra Patricia Trelawney, Cassandra Patricia
Sibyll Trelawney is a very thin woman with enormous glasses that make her eyes appear far too large for her face. She wears a large amount of beads, chains and bangles and is always heavily draped in shawls. Sibyll Trelawney is the great-great-granddaughter of Cassandra Trelawney, a celebrated Seer. For this reason, Albus Dumbledore felt obligated to at least interview her for the Divination position at Hogwarts, even though he did not believe she truly had the Sight. He was shocked when she happened to have a real and important prophecy (about vanquishing the Dark Lord) during the meeting in 1980. Trelawney does not even remember it, but Dumbledore hired her, mostly to keep her safe. They had been interrupted by Severus Snape, who was also applying for a teaching position, eavesdropping on her interview. Other than the fluke premonitions that she does not realize she has (she also predicted a servant would return to Voldemort in ’94), she gets by on making vague predictions and hoping for a coincidence. She likes to predict the death of a student every year. Her favorite subject is Harry Potter, whom she always looks at with a tragic expression. She spends almost all of her time in her tower, clouded by the vapors. She speaks in a misty, dreamy voice (when composed). Trelawney was put on probation and then fired by High Inquisitor Umbridge in ’96. Dumbledore let her stay at Hogwarts because he was afraid Voldemort might try to get the prophecy out of her. She was reinstated to partial teaching duties the following year with Umbridge gone. She resented having to share the Divination classes with a centaur. Her tarot cards kept showing her a lightning-struck tower, but Dumbledore refused to listen. Trelawney likes to get inebriated on cooking sherry.
